Postcard printing for marketing and direct mail
A postcard does one job well: it puts one offer in front of someone, on something solid enough that they keep it. Businesses use them to announce an opening, bring lapsed customers back, hand out at a counter or post through every door on a round.
We print marketing postcards from our workshop in Alfreton, from your artwork or ours. If you need more room than a card gives you, an A5 or DL leaflet on our flyer and leaflet printing page is the better tool.
Direct-mail postcards
Posted to customers or through doors on your patch. No envelope, so the message is read on the doormat. Tell us it is being mailed and we keep the address side clear.

Heavier than a flyer, simpler than a letter
A flyer is paper and a letter needs opening. A postcard is card, it arrives face-up, and it tends to stay on a fridge or a desk for weeks. That is the whole case for it — and why it suits one offer, one picture and one clear next step.
- Card, not paper. A postcard is printed on card stock, so it survives a letterbox and gets kept rather than binned.
- No envelope to open. The message is visible the moment it lands on the mat.
- Picture side finished to suit — gloss, matt or soft-touch laminate.
- Writing side left uncoated if anyone needs to write on it. A ballpoint will not write on laminate.
- Address side kept clear if it is going in the post — tell us and we will set the layout up for it.
A postcard on proper card stock — solid enough to stay on a desk or a fridge for weeks.
What it costs
Sizes, and what decides the price
There is no fixed price list for postcards — quantity, size and finish change the number more than anything. Send those and you will get a real figure back, usually the same day.
