Acrylic and 3D built-up letters are the same job to us: cut, build and finish a sign that has some depth to it. Whether you want a flat printed panel on a reception wall or a set of bespoke 3D letters across a frontage, it’s cut, made and finished in our own workshop — so we control the edge quality, and acrylic is judged almost entirely on its edges.

Acrylic is judged on its edges
Anyone can cut a rectangle of acrylic. The difference between a sign that looks expensive and one that looks like a school project is the edge finish, the fixings and whether the artwork sits behind the panel or on top of it. That’s the bit we don’t rush.
- Laser-cut, flame-polished edges — clear as the face, not milky and chipped.
- Cast acrylic, not extruded, where the edge is on show — it cuts cleaner and yellows slower.
- Stainless standoffs that hold the panel off the wall, so it reads as an object rather than a sticker.
- Second-surface printing — ink on the back of the panel, protected by the acrylic itself. Nothing to scratch off.
- UV-stable inks for anything facing a window or going outdoors.

Every acrylic sign is cut to size, so a fixed price list would be a fiction. Here’s roughly where things start. Send us the size and the artwork and we’ll come back with a real number, not a range.

- Standoffs and fixings included on panel signs
Built-up letters are priced per letter, so a short name costs less than you’d think. Lit signage is quoted with the lighting spec once we know where it’s going.
