A brochure is the piece of print people keep. A leaflet gets read once; a brochure sits on a desk, goes in a bag at a trade show, gets passed across a table while someone decides whether to hire you. It is worth getting the paper, the binding and the layout right.

Saddle-stitched brochures
Folded sheets stapled through the spine — the classic brochure. Pages go up in fours, because every sheet folds into four pages. The usual choice for price lists, programmes and product brochures.

A glued, square spine like a paperback. The right call once a brochure gets too thick to staple neatly — catalogues, reports, anything with real page count.

Stitched, bound or folded?
Most brochure questions come down to page count. Once you know roughly how many pages the content needs, the binding more or less chooses itself — and we will tell you honestly if a different format would do the job for less.
- Saddle-stitched for most brochures. The page count has to be a multiple of four — if yours lands on 10, we will suggest 8 or 12 rather than blank pages.
- Perfect-bound once it gets too thick to staple neatly. You get a printable spine, which matters if it will sit on a shelf.
- Folded for a short brochure from a single sheet — no binding at all.
- Paper: inside pages are commonly 130–170gsm silk or gloss, with a heavier cover. Our paper weight guide explains the numbers.
- Proofed before printing — you approve a digital proof, and we check bleed and image resolution first.

What it costs
What decides the price
There is no fixed price list for brochures, because two brochures with the same page count can be very different jobs. These are the things that move the number — send us them and you will get a real figure, not a range.

- Artwork checked for bleed and resolution — our print-ready artwork guide covers the basics
- Collect from the workshop in Alfreton, or we will deliver
Send page count, finished size and quantity and we will come back with a price and a lead time — usually the same day.
